# Content brief (AI search)

A content brief for AI search is a plan for a page built from the answers currently winning a prompt: the questions to cover, the structure to use and the sources to reference.

Where a classic SEO brief starts from keyword data, an AI-search brief starts from the answer text and citations collected for a prompt. It lists what winning answers say, which pages they cite, and which sub-questions they cover.

The brief gives structure, not prose: the writing stays with a person so the page is accurate and in the brand's voice.
